Tenzing Tsewang's bamboo flute improvisations, ancient Tibetan chanting and joyful folk songs are a journey far into the Himalayas and deep into the heart. Born into a family of Tibetan nomads, trained in the private monastery of HH the Dalai Lama...Tenzing's music combines Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan culture with modern sounds to offer a unique musical and spiritual experience.

Tenzing describes Tayatha:
Tayatha means gone beyond. It is the mantra of the Medicine Buddha. TAYATHA OM BEKHA ZAYA BEKHA ZAYAMAHA BEKHA ZAYA RAZA SAMUNG GATE SOHA.
In Tibetan the Medicine Buddha is known as Sangye Menlha, in Sanskrit, the Buddha Bendruya. The Medicine Buddha (pictured on the cover) is blue in colour, representing space, infinitely healing. I have found that there are many different ways of chanting and even a few different ways of writing and pronouncing the Medicine Buddha mantra. Here I have chosen Dr Nida Chenagtsang's version, as my connection to Tibetan medicine is through him.
